HSINCHU ORIENTAL BEAUTY TEA 150G

Oriental Beauty Tea, also known as Pongfong Tea, is said to have been presented to the British Queen by English merchants a hundred years ago. The Queen brewed this tea in a crystal cup, observing how the tender, unopened tea buds danced in the rising steam. Enchanted by its unique aroma and the fact that it hails from the Oriental island of Formosa, Taiwan, the Queen bestowed upon it the name "Oriental Beauty Tea"

The tea soup has an amber hue, and the tea leaves, having been biten by the little green leafhopper, produce a distinct floral and honeyed aroma. The tea leaves are long and slender, consisting of one bud and two leaves, and are aptly referred to as "white-tip oolong" due to their short white tips.

🔍Color: Honey yellow

🔍Aroma: Multilayered and sweet floral-fruity notes, with hints of muscatel grape flavor

🔍Taste: Carries ripe fruit and honey sweetness, rich and not astringent, with a smooth and refreshing mouthfeel. It gradually generates saliva as it goes down the throat 🙂. Oriental Beauty Tea has a lingering aftertaste, offering a boundless artistic conception. It combines the delicate fragrance of Oolong tea with the mellow richness of Pu-erh tea, creating a unique and exquisite flavor. Oriental Beauty Tea can be likened to the champagne 🥂 of Taiwanese Oolong teas.

🔍After being nibbled by small green leaf cicadas, the tea leaves undergo a unique process, resulting in a special floral and fruity honey aroma. The insect bites, while healing, also enhance the activity of "tea polyphenols," significantly increasing the content of catechins.
